I was about 11, on one of our many family trips to the mall pet store, when I saw my first Ball Python. I begged my parents for months to buy it for me. People didn't have pet snakes in 1987 so I couldn't believe it when they finally agreed. I was like "Yes, I won!"
OUR BEGINNING
What happens when mom won’t let you get a dog?
You get a Ball Python, of course.
And, if you’re Brian (Rosie) DaRosa, 25 years later, you’ll have hundreds of pythons, a lizard, 3 tortoises, 2 turtles, 3 cats, 2 mastiffs, chickens, a hedgehog, a guinea pig, many fish...oh yeah, and 4 kids with whom you share all your passion and experience.
Who would’ve guessed this city kid, who grew up on a small patch of pavement, would become a reptile enthusiast? Brian always loved animals but his appreciation for reptiles began at 12 years old when he received his first Ball Python. As a teen, he’d go camping with his buddy and catch various creatures to add to his pet collection. He soon developed a reputation for caring for animals and was frequently called to take in exotic pets in need of a home.
Brian’s hobby has evolved into a passion for reptile advocacy and education, encouraging responsible pet ownership and breeding practices. He still receives calls to take in many amazing species. While Brian adores all animals, Ball Pythons hold a special place in his heart. He spends much of his time exploring the limitless beauty of rare morphs. OUR TEAM
Caring for our various creatures and breeding Ball Pythons is a lot of work but we all love what we do, enjoy sharing our passion with you, and deeply value these incredible animals.

Life without reptiles is no life at all.

My favorite part of what we do is helping people overcome their fears and learn to value and enjoy reptiles.

I've liked reptiles since I was a kid and now I have the opportunity to share that with others.

It's great to be able to combine my love of media production with my love of animals. And, filming my dad (Rosie) is pretty entertaining.

Growing up, our house was like a zoo. Anytime we asked for an animal or someone asked us to take an animal, Dad (Rosie) ALWAYS said "yes!" and I wouldn't have wanted it any other way.
